Celebrating the Lunar New Year
It's the lunar year of the Sheep with Jesse as the Greater Seattle community celebrates with lion dances, fireworks, music and food. This year Jesse Tam and friends enjoyed the live performance in the International district with a children's parade, judging contest, food from variety of restaurants in the area and just a gathering of people. The traditional celebration usually will last for 7 days with each day having a specific meaning. Other festive events were well attended at Bellevue Square mall with martial arts demonstrations, children participation in martial arts, traditional music and folk dancing. This year was a great success to see so many visitors to join the Chinese celebration, thanks for Mr. Tam for inviting us to join his friends at the gala evening.
