Northwest Cruise Season, Jesse Tam sailing season has arrived and ready to explore the great outdoors. Spring and warmer weather is the perfect time to cruise the Pacific Northwest from Seattle or Vancouver, BC to Alaska and the Northwest passage. Each April the large cruise ships are docked at the piers and visitors from across the states and country are ready to enjoy a week of cruising on some of the largest ships. Some spend a few days prior sightseeing in the Greater Seattle/Bellevue at Pike Place, Boeing, Seattle Center, Microsoft headquarters, Amazon and just the outdoors.
The airport will be crowded with the additional tourist and hotels during the season are more difficult to find rooms. There's plenty to see and do in the city even if we get a few clouds or rainy days. Try walking along the waterfront and try the seafood and ride the Big Wheel. It's also fun to just relax at the fish market and watch the fish toss at the Pike Place Market.
Cruise season runs from late April to September, with high season typically June through August. The best time to go is subjective. June, July and August are the warmest months. May and September are fewer crowds and better prices. Princess and Holland America are two biggest Alaska operator, but nearly every major cruise line has at lease one ship in Alaska each summer, including Celebrity, Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Disney.
Ready to sail and see the Inside Passage, glaciers and more. Jesse https://jesse-tam28.blogspot.com/ Take time to relax and be prepare for changing weather conditions.
