Google South Lake Union Site

Blog by Jesse Tam, Google is expanding in the Pacific Northwest and will be moving from it's Fremont neighborhood office to South Lake Union.The new space will double the size of Google's space in Kirkland, Washington. The four building will have office space and apartment tower with underground parking.  Construction will start by 2017 and should be completed in 2019. 

The Fremont had office space for more than 10 years in Seattle and need additional space to continue. Seattle is an important city for recruiting and the third largest engineering team.  The region work on products including Chrome, Hangout, Cloud, Maps, Android and Ads.  The city is filled with other high tech companies.

Seattle Stair Climb Columbia Tower

Seattle held the 25th Scott Firefighter Stair Climb on Sunday, March 5th with firefighters participating from around the world to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Seattle stair climb, Jesse Tam sharing current events and happenings in the community.  Another great fundraising wearing full gear with firefighters from 26 states and seven countries climbing 69 flights of stair at the Columbia Center tower.

 Last year in 2015, over $2 million was raised to help fight blood cancers with firefighters from over 330 different departments and many participating firefighters.

Columbia Tower Seattle, Jesse

The Columbia Center tower is the tallest skyscraper in downtown Seattle skyline and the tallest building in the State of Washington.  It is currently the second tallest structure on the West Coast.
