Making A Difference Jesse Tam, we can all make a difference by our actions. It may be standing up for your rights and beliefs or remaining silent and do absolutely nothing and be passive. The choices are yours, but your decision can create an impact on others whether it is in the professional world or volunteering.
Are you a leader or follower, take action or make the decision. What are your intentions as a leader? What goes around comes around and may will follow you throughout. Every good deed will bring rewards and those with ill-will will have it's making.
We are fortunate to have the Gates Foundation in Seattle. We were invited to view and join the campaign to help End Polio with our Rotary District Leaders during a reception presented at the Foundation's Visitor Center. Their work and inspiration locally and worldwide will make an impact in our society. The campaign with polio vaccination in various countries so we can hope to become a polio free world.
Think about it, have you made a difference? Have you given to others without expecting anything in return. Have you spoken up for anyone or volunteered unconditionally? "Teach others what you learn. Use your creativity to help".
